Why Dallas is a Great Place to Study Film & Video
Dallas is the fifth-largest television market in the United States, which means that there is a huge drive in the broadcasting industry to meet the demand. This is good news for camera operators, film editors, technicians, producers and directors who have trained in broadcasting rather than filmmaking – but with a number of recent made-for-TV movies, Oscar-winning pictures such as "Boys Don't Cry," and classics like "Office Space" filmed in Dallas, there's potential for movie-industry work as well.
